Let’s face it, yoga classes can be intimidating. It always seems like the person next to you knows exactly what to do and you’re left out in the cold. Sometimes the teacher doesn’t even explain anything.
Other times, you might have an injury or condition that just makes it hard to attend public classes. Or, maybe you just need some individual attention that the yoga teacher in our public class can’t give you.
Whatever the reason, a one-on-one yoga session can be one of the best things you ever gift yourself. You have someone there to support you, answer your questions, and tap into what you really need. Each session is crafted just for you. It can be a life-changing experience.
Most of what I do as a yoga teacher is private yoga. I work with students who want to build up experience and strength to attend public classes. I also work with students who have injuries and health conditions that make it hard (or even impossible) for them to attend public classes.
I have helped students reduce pain and improve strength, flexibility, and balance. I’ve shown students how to center themselves through meditation and breath work. My work as a teacher is very much focused on the nervous system; guiding students to a place of relaxation where the body can rest and repair.
My thousands of hours of teaching experience allow me to pull from a large tool bag of yoga skills, tips, and tricks. I love what I do and my students do as well. Here’s what one had to say:
“Signing up for personal sessions with Christine is, without a doubt, the best decision I have made in a very long time. I suffer from chronic pain and joint issues and through the years I have had chiropractic, massage therapy, physical therapy, and personal Pilates instruction, but nothing I have had in the past compares to how I feel after a session with Christine.”
If you are in South Florida, I’d love to work with you. I teach in the Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Wellington, and West Palm Beach areas. Call or text 561-396-9791 or e-mail me at christine@movement.yoga.
