I call Movement Yoga & Wellness a mobile yoga studio. It started out as a local business in South FL. My focus was bringing yoga and my teaching style to all sorts of locations such as breweries, beaches, corporate offices, and the homes of my students. Movement Yoga still is that, but it’s so much more.

As my business grew, I wanted to reach more people beyond South FL. I also wanted to connect with other yoga teachers and help them build successful businesses. I’ve made that dream happen via my online classes, teacher trainings and mentorship programs.

Movement Yoga is now a global (but still small) business. My videos have been viewed by students in 15+ countries. I’ve developed the Business of Private Yoga training for teachers who want to build a sustainable private yoga business. Finally, I’ve launched a yoga teacher mentoring program.

My Method

My goal is to teach yoga that is appropriate for every BODY. I focus on science-based techniques to improve mobility, strength, and balance. I work with the nervous system to induce deep relaxation and turn off the fight or flight response. I use both traditional yoga poses and techniques, as well as more modern and unique movements, to help you move better in your body and feel better in your mind. My instructions are clear and concise. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an advanced practioner, you will walk away from my class (either online or in person) having learned something new and feeling more connected.

Who I Am

I am a yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) located in South Florida who has a strong passion for yoga and body movement. I first discovered yoga years ago when I was looking for a way to de-stress from my fast-paced corporate job. I found myself in a quaint yoga studio in Central Jersey (where I grew up) having no idea what to expect. I struggled through my first class and made it all the way to savasana (final relaxation at the end of class). From then on, I was hooked. I discovered that yoga not only gave me a much-needed break from my hectic life, but it also calmed my mind and helped me connect deeper with myself. My passion for the practice grew, and I soon found myself signing up for my first teacher training with YogaWorks. After countless hours of training, studying, and hard work, I became a certified yoga instructor. My favorite part about teaching is being able to connect with students who are not only interested in yoga, but are hungry to learn more about their bodies and minds.
